Our very personal interpretation of this precious grape. Unstructured, not very fragrant. Juiciness, freshness and soft elegance. Solar and friendly. Average production approx. 2000 bottles / year.

 

Fermented with indigenous yeasts in large wooden barrels. Partially macerated for 3 to 8 days. Aging on lees in large acacia barrels for 12 months. Bottled without filtration.

A pinot grigio out of any scheme, but which conquers at the first taste. Red fruits, hints of woods and limestone in a dress of fine tannins that give freshness and length in the mouth. A wine that goes well with many foods and invites to stay in good company. Average production approx. 2000 bottles / year.

 

Fermented with indigenous yeasts in large wooden barrels. Macerated for up to 5 days. Aging on lees in large oak barrels for 12 months. Bottled without filtration.

Pinot Grigio

A great wine that can be fresh, juicy, tangy and dry. It comes from different vineyards on limestone and porphyry soils. Large selection of G.........tr..... grapes in the vineyard and on the table.

 

Spontaneous fermentation of the grapes in contact with the skins for 3 weeks in acacia barrels. To stem the "heat" we resorted to 30% of stalks in fermentation. Subsequently aging in small acacia barrels for 16 months.

MITTERBERG IGT

A PIWI wine (mushroom resistant) - So........... Gr... variety, which we mainly cultivate in our vineyard with steep terraces on granite and gneiss. The vines are almost completely treated with copper and sulfur and are therefore suitable for long-term contact with the skins. A very lively and multilayered wine that is simply a lot of fun in every way.

 

7 (!) Months on the skins in the used wooden barrel and with its lees. Following for 5 months in stainless steel, where it lightens, then it is bottled without filtration.

MITTERBERG GEWÜRZTRAMINER IGT

GT ROOTS

Put down roots, connect! Gewürztraminer has a great tradition in our region. We want to build on that, but in our personal way. A timeless, demanding but also easy to understand character that flatters the palate. A lot of juiciness and length. The grapes grow in a special small vineyard in permaculture. All kinds of other plants and fruits grow there. A true idyll that produces incredibly tasty grapes for our CRU.

 

7 months on the skins, 5 months in stainless steel, then refined in the bottle. No filtration.

LATO  SCURO

MITTERBERG IGT

Made out of two red PIWI varieties. A light but full wine, intended to accompany everyday dishes or to drink alone. It is characterized by berries, spices and juicy freshness. Cultivation on steep granite and gneiss terraces.

 

Partially fermented with whole grapes (semicarbonique) for about 10 days. Subsequently aged for 12 months in used barriques and tonneaux.

Our Alpine Pinot. Elegance, individualism and depth. A wine for dreaming, reflecting, enjoying life. Versatile in the kitchen, it adapts to any situation. A very noble grape variety interpreted in our own way.

 

Cultivation on granite and gneiss and also on limestone. Spontaneously fermented with whole bunches and stems. Subsequently aged for 24 months in large Slavonian oak barrels.
